Visit To The Big Apple

While waiting for Hurricane Gabrielle to definitely move away, we decided to visit New York City. It was an easy trip, beginning with a water taxi to the town dock, then a short walk to the Long Island Railroad station, and finally a short ride and inexpensive trip into Penn Station. We had a great day in the city. It was nice, so everyone was out and about enjoying the weekend. From our vantage point at Top of the Rock, in addition to these great views of Central Park and the Empire State Building, we were able to view our planned trip through Throgs Neck, Hell Gate, the East Side, and out past the Statue of Liberty.
